9 Nights (Friday, Saturday & Sunday Arrivals)
Day 1 – Arrive Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, we will be assisted through Customs and Immigration and then transferred to our hotel.
Day 2 – Full Day Tour to the Pyramids
This morning we visit the magnificent Great Pyramids of Giza and their guardian Sphinx. Following lunch, we spend the afternoon at Memphis — the first capital of the ancient kingdom, see the great Alabaster Sphinx, the colossal granite statue of Ramses II, then drive to Sakkara to see the step pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest pyramid in the world dating from 2,700 BC. We will stay overnight at our hotel

Day 3 – Cairo Full Day Tour
Today we will visit the Egyptian Museum which houses the richest collection of antiquities ever discovered, including the fabulous burial treasures of King Tutankhamon. After lunch, we will visit Islamic Cairo and experience another period of Egypt’s history dating from 640 AD. We will then visit the Citadel of Salah El Dien (Saladin) with its two great mosques and a panoramic view of the city. We will also visit the colourful Khan El Khalili Bazaar. We’ll be staying overnight at our hotel.

Day 4 – Luxor Cruise
This morning we will be transferred to the Cairo Airport for our flight to Luxor, where we will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise ship, our floating hotel, for the next 5 days. This afternoon we will visit the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak, which has no equal among the national shrines of Egypt. We will stay overnight in Luxor.

DAY 5 – Esna / Edfo (Cruise)
Today we will explore the wondrous Valleys of the Kings and Queens, the Necropolis of Thebes, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. This afternoon we will sail down the Nile to Edfo where we will spend the night.

Day 6 – Edfo / Komombo (Cruise)
This morning we will visit the Temple of Horus, the Falcon God, then continue sailing to Komombo to visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Kamombo’s Ptolemaic Temple offers beautiful murals and an unforgettable view of the river Nile. Tonight we enjoy a special costume party featuring the Native Egyptian and the Pharaonic styles. We will stay overnight in Komombo.

Day 7 – Aswan (Cruise)
Today we will cruise to Aswan’s High Dam with its huge lake and the magnificent Temple of Philae. In the afternoon we will view the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Islands by “Felucca”, a traditional Nile sailing boat. We will stay overnight in Aswan.

DAY 8 – Aswan / Cairo
Today we’ll be transferred to Aswan Airport for our flight back to Cairo.

Day 9 – Cairo / Old Coptic Cairo / Maadi
Breakfast at our hotel. Pick up from our hotel by our local representative, visit to St. Mary’s Church in Maadi and see the ancient stone steps leading down to the Nile River that were used by the Holy Family to sail to Upper Egypt. Proceed to old Coptic Cairo to visit The Hanging Church, St. Sergius Church to see the Crypt where the Holy Family took shelter, St. Barbara’s Church where the relics of Saint John are preserved. After lunch we visit St. Mary’s Church in Zitoun where She appeared over the domes and accompanied by splendid miracles. Continue to Matarea to see St. Mary’s Tree where the Holy Family rested in its shade. Our day will end with a visit to back to our hotel for overnight.

Day 10 – Depart Cairo
Today we will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for out flight back home. Note: pick up from the hotel to the airport for international flights is 3 hours prior to departure.
